Navigating MCAS Care

Finding the right answers for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) can be overwhelming. Here's how our scheduling process works to ensure patients seeking an MCAS consultation receive the most attentive care possible:

  • Step 1: Physician Referral. Because MCAS requires a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, please ask your primary care provider to send us a referral along with detailed medical notes.
  • Step 2: Medical Review. Our team will review your history to ensure our practice is the absolute best match for your ongoing care.
  • Step 3: Course of Action. Once reviewed, we will reach out to you directly to guide you on the best steps forward.

New Patients

What to do for your first visit:

  • Carefully read and follow the medication restriction list (en español) so that we can achieve the most accurate skin testing possible.
  • Print and fill out forms completely.
  • Plan on being in our office for 2 hours for your thorough exam and possible skin testing.
  • Refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, body oils, and powders when coming in for ANY scheduled appointment.

  • Expect a confirmation call regarding your appointment from our automated telephone reminder system a few days prior to your scheduled visit. YOU WILL NEED TO CONFIRM/CANCEL your appointment by responding via your telephone key pad.
