Our Macon Allergists

Dr. Jeremiah N. Bivins is board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Internal Medicine. He is the current vice president and president elect for the Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society of Georgia (2019-2021) and is an active member of several other allergy societies.


Dr. Jeremiah Bivins completed his undergraduate degree at Maryville College and his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He fulfilled his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. His fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology was completed at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.


Dr. Bivins enjoys spending time with his wife (Ashley) and daughter (Lily), hanging out with family and friends, training and coaching youth soccer and learning about the various interests/hobbies of his patients.

Dr. Jeana S. Bush completed her undergraduate degree cum laude at the University of Georgia in Athens. She graduated with her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and fulfilled her residency in pediatrics at the Levine Children’s Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, North Carolina. Her fellowship in allergy and immunology was completed at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents College in Augusta.


Dr. Bush is board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Pediatrics. She is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.


Dr. Bush enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, University of Georgia football, Atlanta Braves baseball, running, spinning, travel and home renovation.

Dr. Turkessa J. Walker completed her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She fulfilled her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Walker also served as assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. She completed her fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Medical College of Georgia.


Dr. Walker is board certified in allergy and immunology as well as pediatric medicine. She is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, where she serves as a section member on both the food allergy, anaphylaxis, dermatology, and drug allergy interest committee and the immunotherapy, rhinitis, sinusitis, ocular disease, and cough interest committee.


Before joining The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center, Dr. Walker was staff physician within the allergy and immunology division of Nemours Children’s Specialty Care in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Walker is a native of Georgia and is glad to return home with her husband and young son.
