Dr. Robert "Bob" Overholt has served Knoxville and the East Tennessee area through The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center since 1970. He received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis, served an internship at Philadelphia General Hospital and completed his internal medicine residency and allergy fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Overholt is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology and is a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He is past president of the Knoxville Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Overholt is a regular health commentator for NBC WBIR Channel 10, as well as the host of
the popular "Dr. Bob Show". Dr. Overholt specializes in adult and adolescent allergy, asthma
and clinical immunology.
