Dr. Shimazu received her M.D. from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii. She also served her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Shimazu has taught as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama. Well published, Dr. Shimazu has served as Dermatology Resident Representative to the Resident Physician Section of the AMA, and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Dermatology.
As a Dermatologist, Dr. Shimazu provides The Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center a distinct diagnostic perspective of skin conditions and effective treatment.
