Your Experts in Adult, Adolescent & Pediatric Allergy

The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center has been helping patients of all ages for more than 30 years at our Weisgarber Road location. Our board certified allergists along with the rest of our staff take great pride in being a source of comfort and relief to our younger patients especially! Whether you have an infant, a three year old, an adolescent or one of each, our pediatric allergists can help. As part of board certification, our allergists had to choose between a residency in internal medicine or pediatrics. Those of us who chose pediatrics (and are now practicing pediatric allergy) have never looked back!

Chronic allergies and asthma in a child can affect his or her development and learning. Missed school days, low energy levels and difficulty concentrating may be attributed to allergies. Other symptoms include a stuffy or runny nose, watery eyes, an itchy throat, and overall irritability. Signs your child’s symptoms may be worsening could also include earaches, chronic coughs and disruptive sleep. And allergies can be hereditary! If your family has a history of allergy or sinus conditions, it’s very likely your child will have problems, too.

The pediatric allergists at our Weisgarber Road clinic can help control – and even prevent -- your child’s allergic reactions! If caught early enough, your child can avoid developing additional allergies and prevent the symptoms he or she does have from worsening into more serious conditions, like asthma.

If you think your child may benefit from seeing someone who specializes in pediatric allergy, come see us. Our Weisgarber Road clinic is conveniently located and has extended hours. We also offer Allernow walk-in clinic. Allernow requires no appointment and has hours that may be more suitable to your busy schedule. Whatever your child’s age or your schedule, we’re ready to help!
